Bus Monitor |
As a Bus Monitor you will assist with the transport of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities from our Hartwick, NY facility to various sites throughout the county. Hours are 7am-12pm and 2pm-5pm Monday through Friday. A valid NYS Driver’s License and a High school diploma or GED is required. |

Day/Res Direct Support Provider |
The Arc Otsego has full-time shared Direct Support Provider positions; assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities with their daily activities.
The majority of the positions are four days a week from 6am – 4pm with a few positions that are five days a week with three ten hour days and two six hour days. These positions do have weekends off.
Required: A valid New York State Driver’s License and the ability to frequently lift fifty pounds. High School diploma, GED or CNA is preferred, but not required.

Current openings for Direct Support Providers to assist persons who have intellectual and other developmental disabilities living in a residential setting. Applicants must be willing to explore and practice new and creative ways to assist consumers with daily living skills, possess a valid NYS Driver’s License, have the ability to frequently lift at least 50 pounds, and a desire to learn. A High School Diploma, GED or CNA is preferred but not required. Part-time and full-time positions available throughout Otsego County. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Individual Program Coordinator - Day Srvs |
Person to be responsible for the coordination of the program plans for approximately 25 individuals at an adult day program. Ensure that the plans adequately meet the physical, social and developmental needs of each person. In addition, the IPC will also ensure that there is a plan to help adequately protect each person's health, dignity, safety, comfort, well-being and civil, human and legal rights and that person's preferences are taken into account. Applicants must have very good communication and written skills, be willing to work in a team environment and have good social skills. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities required. A valid NYS driver’s license is also required. Full time position Monday – Friday (8am – 4pm) with an excellent benefit package. |

Residential Habilitation Assistant |
Seeking responsible applicants who are willing to provide assistance and support to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes within Otsego County. Duties will include but are not limited to, teaching daily living, recreational, and social skills. As a Residential Shift Coordinator you will supervise a team of employees providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will ensure the delivery of quality services, serve as a role model to employees, and assist the residential home manager. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required, one-year supervisory experience and/or one-year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
