At The Arc Otsego, we know the challenges associated with getting around a rural county. That is why we have a fully developed transportation system that uses buses, vans, and cars to make sure that each person we support is able to access work, volunteer and leisure activities, and community services. We even have a contract with Otsego County to provide bus services for the Otego, NY route- a real win/win solution which benefits the county, the agency and most importantly, the people we serve by providing opportunities for greater community inclusion. Our buses run five days a week, fifty-two weeks a year and staff use our vans and cars are to transport individuals seven days a week. In short, The Arc Otsego is "on the road" 365 days a year because lack of transportation should never be a barrier to living one's life.
